Deepak Shankar is a renowned wildlife photographer, Nikon Creator, and founder of Shutter Monks Expeditions — a platform built around wildlife photography tours, private guided safaris, and mentorship-led expeditions designed for photographers of all levels. Baishakhi Mazumder, fondly known as 'Bash,' is a passionate wildlife photographer who left behind a successful career as a Chartered Accountant and banker to pursue her true calling. Over the past decade, she has captured the beauty of wildlife across the globe, from the forests of India and the African savanna to the rainforests of South America and the icy Arctic. Her work has been internationally celebrated, including features in BBC Wildlife magazine and exhibitions worldwide.Bash’s journey into wildlife photography began with a casual trip to Pench National Park, which sparked a passion that transformed her life. She views photography as a way to celebrate the untamed beauty of nature and is committed to mentoring aspiring photographers. Through her work, Bash raises awareness of critical conservation issues, encouraging a more thoughtful engagement with the natural world.

We travelled to Tadoba with the ShutterMonks. It's been a great experience, we saw 19 tigers in about six safaris. Loved the accommodations, the warmth of the team, their expertise-commendable. Would really recommend ShutterMonks because the experience has been totally mesmerising and amazing.

We visited Tadoba Tiger Reserve with Deepak Shankar of Shutter Monks. We had a lovely time as it was a large group of 20+ members from toddlers to senior citizens. Right from the time we arrived at the airport- everything for us was taken care of. We had a hassle free wonderful holiday with lots of memories. The team’s deep knowledge of the reserve, excellent accommodation, and experienced guides made the entire experience awe-inspiring. Each of our 5 Jeeps, were able to sight a lot of tigers & it was a very thrilling experience.
